STEEL TROMMEL FOR 40’ SAG MILL

A customer of Vanguard was experiencing a lot of unplanned downtime and process upsets with the rubber panels falling out of their 40’ SAG mill trommels.

Vanguard was commissioned to supply the pictured bespoke DEM designed trommels furnished with steel panels having small aperture slots specially manufactured with reliefs to reduce the risks associated with slot pegging.

These rotable Vanguard trommels have the panels securely mounted and are able to provide process improvements and significantly longer life from their cyclone feed pumps and cyclones.
